Python Job: Django Python Developer

We are looking for a mid-senior Django Python Developer to build and grow our technology. In this role, you will help us improve our next-generation architecture as well as to maintain the app ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing technologies to get us through our Series A.

Salary as well as options/equity are based on experience and compromise.

Responsibilities:

• Build robust, performant, user-facing web applications in Python/Django.
• Develop, create, and ship new functionality for user interaction and scientific data visualization, using modern APIs and frameworks
• Work as an integral part of an agile product team to deliver an reliable and seamless user experience
• Deliver responsive, accessible, mobile-friendly code of high quality (automated test/build/deploy).
• Develop technical aspects of the group strategy to ensure alignment with our business goals.
• Maintain, develop and add new features to our new and growing product lines.
• Provide, support and develop new features/tools for the marketing and operation teams.
• Create and maintain the full life cycle development process.
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Build quality assurance and data access, and protection processes.

Requirements:

• Experience in developing Django web applications and services, agile development processes. Django (2.2 and upwards), Django REST framework
• REST API knowledge
• Relational DB knowledge (PostgreSQL)
• Python
• Basic Linux experience
• Git
• Celery
• Docker
• Basic AWS knowledge (EB, RDS, EC2)
• A deep passion for technology.
• Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, foresee scalability challenges and mitigate risks.
• Management skills.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills

Plus:

• Blockchain development (Cardano, UTXO model, node configuration).
